Led class incorporates the traditional Sanskrit count and focuses on the meditative flow of the practice. Incorporating the correct transitions or movement married to breath (vinyasas) into and out of postures with little interruption brings increased grace, strength and intention to the practice. Private yoga sessions are a helpful way to begin your yoga journey or address specific needs or challenges within your practice. Some practitioners require only a few sessions before moving onto or back into their regular group classes at a studio, while others prefer to stay with privates sessions because they love the attention and/or the accountability of scheduled sessions in their busy schedule.
I personally love teaching private yoga and have done so at almost every type of venue one could imagine over the years since 2001: doctor’s offices, financial institutions, construction companies, hair salons, art studios, birthday parties, weddings, and the list goes on. It’s extremely fulfilling to see the progress my clients make and the joy in their hearts if coming together for a special occasion. And, I appreciate the opportunity to give each practitioner more attention than is possible in larger classes.
Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, private classes are helpful to address your specific needs. Private classes are one hour unless otherwise specified. Please contact me directly for scheduling. References available upon request.
If you are new to yoga, a minimum of 5 sessions is suggested, meeting at least once a week. This gives you time to experiment with the techniques and begin to incorporate them into your daily routine. As with anything, time and a commitment to practice is required to see results.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give 24-hours notice or payment for the session is due. If you are given less than 24-hours notice, you will receive a full refund.
