New Moon Meditation (Total time approximately two hours)

The New Moon is a time to be introspective, rest, and meditate. It is a good time to nurture ourselves, take time for positive self-reflection, and to count our blessings. Take a moment and think of one thing for which you are eternally grateful, allow the image to come to your mind, and notice the feelings of joy and happiness it brings to your heart. Hold the image in your mind and continue to sow the seeds of gratitude.  If it starts to fade, bring it back and foster this positive emotion.

Journal: Manifesting Goals and Dreams

New Moons mark new beginnings and a fresh start, a time to plant seeds and imagine the things you wish to accomplish during the coming month. You are less emotional and can see more clearly the path to your goals. Write in your journal your goals and dreams. These are not necessarily negative things to remove from your life, but instead the dreams and goals you truly wish to see yourself accomplish. Write only positive words in  your journal.  List them as they come to you. (10 minutes)

Journal: Positive Changes

This new moon is in Gemini, an “air” sign and you may desire change or feel intensified activity. Perhaps the increased energy will inspire clearer perception and open new doors.

Journal about any positive changes needed in your life. Again, write in a positive way not judging or criticizing yourself or others. Simply write the positive changes you would like to make in your life, and let the winds of change carry you forward.

Journal: Healing Relationships
This new moon is in Gemini, the House of Communication. It’s a great time to communicate ideas, clear the air, and resolve any frustration with others.  Journal about any obstacles you would like to remove with others and positive ways in which you might communicate this with them, in a loving way, based on ahimsa, or non-harming toward them.

Walking meditation 10 minutes

End with 3 Oms to remove blockages and obstacles. Invite in guidance from your higher power. Offer up your work and efforts and fruit these efforts bear for the greater good.
